How do I get the Bangor Mobile App?
To download the Bangor Mobile App, visit the store on your mobile device and search for Bangor Mobile or Bangor Savings. To access your accounts you must have a Bangor Online account to login. The first time you login on a new mobile device, you will be asked to confirm your identity by responding to a voice call or text.
Will I have to receive a call or text every time I log in?
No. After your first successful login, you will be prompted to “remember” your device. This setting can be changed later in the More button within the App.
How much does the Bangor Mobile App cost?
The Bangor Mobile App is free to download, however data charges from your wireless carrier may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details.
Can I access my external accounts through the Bangor Mobile App?
Not all Bangor Online functionality is available on the App, like the ability to view external accounts, perform external transfers, or view eStatements. We will be looking to add additional functionality in future releases, so please be sure to keep the App updated on your device.
What if I can't access my accounts through the App?
If you have problems accessing your Bangor Savings Bank accounts through the Bangor Mobile App please contact Bangor Support at 1.877.Bangor1 (1.877.226.4671) during normal business hours.

What is Bangor Mobile Deposit?
Bangor Savings Bangor Mobile Deposit is a secure, simple and convenient way to use your preferred supported Android phones and tablets as well as Apple iOS smart phones and iPads to deposit checks into an eligible Bangor Savings Bank checking or savings account.
How do I get Bangor Mobile Deposit?
Bangor Savings Mobile Deposit is a functionality within the Bangor Mobile app. To download the Bangor Mobile app, visit the app store on your device and search for Bangor Mobile or Bangor Savings Bank.
Is there a fee to use Mobile Deposit?
No. We do not currently charge a fee for use of the Bangor Mobile service. However, charges from the wireless carrier may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details.
Who can use Bangor Mobile Deposit?
In order to get started, you must have the following:
- One or more eligible checking or savings accounts;
- Bangor Online - You'll need to subscribe to our online banking solution;
- Your mobile device - Mobile Deposit currently supports the latest iPhones, iPads and Android devices running version 1.6 or greater.
Is there a wait period if I am a new Bangor Savings customer?
No. All NEW customers to the Bank will be eligible to sign up for Mobile Deposit. As a new customer, you will be able to download the Bangor Mobile app to use its other services; the Mobile Deposit functionality will be available within 24 hours.
If I am a small business customer, am I eligible to use Mobile Deposit?
Yes. As long as you are enrolled in our online banking solution, Bangor Online, have downloaded the Bangor Mobile app and meet the requirements, you are able to use this service. If you are currently not enrolled in Bangor Online, please visit your local branch to assist you with this process.
What are the cut-off times for deposits made with Mobile Deposit?
Mobile deposits confirmed as received before 6:00 p.m. EST on Monday through Friday (except Bank Holidays) will be considered deposited on that day. Mobile deposits confirmed as received after 6:00 p.m. EST on Monday through Friday (except Bank Holidays) will be considered deposited on the next Business Day.
When will funds be made available?
Funds from Mobile Deposit will generally be available on the first business day following the date of deposit.
When will I see my deposit online?
Please note that your Mobile Deposit will only show in your transaction history and reflect in your Bangor Online balance once the item has been processed by the Bank. You will not see the Mobile Deposit on your account history same business day. This does not indicate that the item has cleared through the Federal Reserve Bank. You may also view 180 days of check history within the Mobile Deposit section.
Are there deposit limits?
Yes, the Standard Customer profile is as follows:

What types of checks can I deposit through Mobile Deposit?
Checks payable in U.S. dollars and drawn at any U.S. bank, including personal, business and government checks, are eligible as long as they are payable to and endorsed by the account holder.
What types of checks can I not deposit through Mobile Deposit?
International checks, U.S. savings bonds, U.S. postal money orders, remotely created checks, convenience checks (checks drawn against a line of credit) and cash are not available for Mobile Deposit.
Why have I been declined the Mobile Deposit functionality?
- You must have one or more eligible checking or savings account(s) that are in good standing. If you have a charged off account or an account with an overdrawn balance for 30 days or more with Bangor Savings Bank you are not eligible for this service.
- If you have perpetrated fraud on any of your accounts you will not be eligible to use this service. Please visit one of our local branches to negotiate the check.
If denied this service, you may still download the Bangor Mobile app, however registration would be denied from the Mobile Deposit functionality and an email notification would be sent to you.
What if I don't want Mobile Deposit anymore?
You cannot opt out of this service once you have signed up for Bangor Mobile. You may simply choose not to use the Mobile Deposit functionality within the app. To remove the Bangor Mobile app, please follow the instructions per your device.

How do I access Bangor Mobile Web?
When visiting Bangor Online on your mobile device, the website will automatically display the mobile version. You can also access it quickly by going to bangor.com.
Will I be charged for Bangor Mobile Web?
There is no charge to use the Bangor Mobile Web site or service, however data charges from your wireless carrier may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details.
What kinds of funds transfers are available?
You can enter an immediate transfer, future-dated, or recurring transfer between your accounts by clicking on the Transfers link in the navigation menu. You will find additional transfer options in the Move Money menu, such as External Transfers and Popmoney.
Can I change or remove a scheduled transfer?
Yes you can do both. On the Schedule Transfer page use the Edit Scheduled Transfer link to make a change or the Delete Scheduled Transfer link to remove a future dated one-time transfer.
How do I pay a bill on mobile banking?
Select the BillPay tab and then select a payee name from the list, enter the amount of the payment and the date to send / deliver the payment (as mm/dd/yyyy), and then select the Pay button.
